Marine can only be used as a nuance. No natural components exist, just fragrant molecules. This is a note that has developed over the last few years, a trend that originated with New West ARAMIS followed by Escape from Calvin Klein. Then came Kenzo Pour Homme by Kenzo in 1990 and Eau d’Issey for women in 1992. This facet gives an ozonic, oceanic or aquatic nuance to a fragrance which, according to the way the perfume is put together, is easier to distinguish than what are strictly known as ''marine" notes.
