Facet Musky

On analyzing the composition of musk grains, chemists discovered a molecule with a soft, round and warm fragrance. The musk note was born. Since then, numerous musk molecules have been synthesized. They have become one of the most indispensable elements of modern perfumery as they have qualities that both soften a perfume composition and increase its the lasting power. It has also helped to contribute to the development of the powder note in perfumes like Trésor by Lancôme or Jovan Musk. Today this note is often used with floral, citrus or chypre notes.
